Who is BANDIT1?

BANDIT1 aka the midnight cat, is a graffiti artist that started emerging in the underground graffiti scene of Houston, Texas. He started at around mid 2003, started by only bombing his bubble like throw-ups, he soon discovered an art form that dealt with character designs. This brought his attention to a new look in graffiti. He kept on bombing walls at this time although sooner or later both forms were used. At 2006, after moving back to his hometown Jakarta, Indonesia BANDIT1 has stopped doing graffiti for about a year in a half, this was due to his schooling. Although in the end of 2007, late December, he started his graffiti campaign once again by putting up his traditional throw-ups and characters.

BANDIT1 came up with the character "the midnight cat", the character can be seen as a short cat standing. The cat has an elongated head so that it an be stretched in many ways. It is mostly seen either with a gask mask on or just showing off his large sharp teeth. What makes BANDIT1 the midnight cat unique is his mask of "zoro" mask he has on. You can see the cat use it all the time, covering his true identity from the modern world. A vandalism thief in the inside, the midnight cat can be seen in dark rural areas, but also in some bright spots. The midnight cat can be seen mostly in black and white, although if used in an actual piece or part of a production, it can be seen in many bright colors. The midnight cat can be seen dressed up under mascot costumes such as bears, kangaroos, wood planks, hidden under letters or his throw-ups and many more

BANDIT1 soon came up and found himself a sidekick, Rasia(RSA). Both represent SYMC aka Shut Yo' Mouth Crew and the UMB aka Underground Monster Bizniz.

Now BANDIT1 is working on his sticker and poster campaigns. This also includes the "mask of zoro" campaign, which relates to covering the faces and eyes of actual posters around the city. This includes pictures of humans and animals.
